Owned and managed by Director Linda Bispham RN, nurseconferences.net (formally Update Education) provides well organised, educationally challenging conferences for nurses, midwives, doctors and other health professionals. Linda has over 30 years nursing experience in a variety of settings including School Nursing, ICU/CCU, Drug Research, Nurse Education, and Day Surgery. Linda has a Diploma in Applied Science (nurse education) Diploma in Child Development and Psychology and Certificate IV in Teaching and Assessing.
Conference venues are based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland boasting stunning surf beaches and a green lush hinterland. You can travel North to explore Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef (photo) or stay locally and visit the famous Australia Zoo and Underwater World. The local markets of Eumundi, Caloundra and Noosa or the Plaza shopping centre offer a less adventurous option.
With a twenty minute bus ride from Nambour Rail Station and the Sunshine Coast Airport and an hour's drive from Brisbane we are perfectly situated for local, interstate and overseas delegates. The Sunshine Coast, Queensland welcomes you all.

Conference Centre Alexandra Headland Breakfree Beach Resort
The Beach Resort is opposite the Alex Surf Club where you can grab a coffee and watch the early morning surfers. Come in August and you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of migrating whales on the horizon.
There is ample free parking at the front and back of the resort and surf club. An ATM machine is available nearby at the local shops.
Reception staff will direct you to the conference centre through the beautiful gardens surrounding the pool. All day refreshments and lunch is always included in our prices.
